  The world WILL end, but not for religious reasons...

  i've been watching a very interesting documentary regarding the state of planet earth.. in a nutshell, (scientifically/physically/factualy) earth is experiencing 'pressure' that points to one inevitable result, to correct itself (or more specifically, to correct the effects of the present human cause, in ex- pollution, global warming, resource depletion etc.)..

  the last time earth 'corrected' itself, there was mass extinction.

  for proof, check out the dinosaur fossil record (unless they are a hoax.).

  If people were not so selfish and self centered maybe they would do something.

  Can anyone explain this reasoning?

  when a jw goes from door to door on a daily basis, they are called pioneers and it is a good thing.. it is an act of love when they share their knowledge with householders.. .

  however, if that pioneer learns more about the watchtower society's beliefs when compared with the bible and tries to share that knowledge with current members he is attacking his brothers and sisters and is mentally diseased.. when he shares his knowledge about the watchtower society's involvement with the un and other political entities with the brothers and sisters it is called an act of hate.. in both instances, we have similar actions and motivations but the watchtower society comes to completely different conclusions.. does it have anything to do with control or is it related to something else?.

  When a JW goes from door to door on a daily basis, they are called pioneers and it is a good thing.

  It is an act of love when they share their knowledge with householders.
  
  However, if that pioneer learns more about the Watchtower Society's beliefs when compared with the bible and tries to share that knowledge with current members he is attacking his brothers and sisters and is mentally diseased.

  When he shares his knowledge about the Watchtower Society's involvement with the UN and other political entities with the brothers and sisters it is called an act of hate.

  In both instances, we have similar actions and motivations but the Watchtower Society comes to completely different conclusions.

  Does it have anything to do with control or is it related to something else.

  I think it is the nature of life. The result is all men will bow before God.

  If you become a Christian and love the bible full tilt and study it religiously at some point you will

  become disenchanted and see problems with your belief.

  If you become an atheist and love atheism and study it religiously at some point you will become

  disenchanted and see problems with your belief.

  God says to put no idols before me. The only thing you can believe and worship religiously

  and find happiness with is God.

  How you do that falls under each person must work out their own salvation.

  Are all religions Apostates or That Evil Slave?

  if the religion now known as the catholic church is the christian religion jesus started, and based on the scripture(s) that men would rise up from among you and speak twisted things- wouldnt that make jehovahs witnesses, as a matter of fact all religions that stem from christianity- apostates or that evil slave(s) based on the faithful slave parable?.

  That sounds like a possibility to me.

  You have to examine and test what you believe.

  If you decide to go to a church for support and upbuilding, you don't have to join

  the church. You could go to several churches.

  Each one has to work out his own salvation.

  On one end you have churches, God the Bible and creation on the other end of the line you

  have atheism and nothing.

  You have to find a place where you fit in and live a successful happy life.

  Why leave one religion only to join another one??

  i read how many here have learned ttat, leave the jw faith, but then subscribe to the 'true' gospel of jesus.. it seems rather contradictory.

  the jw faith teaches a very positive 'concept' of christ and his teachings, how is this different from the way other religions teach it?.

  it seems more logical to discard or ignore any claims of historic or authentic proof of christ's existence.

  I read how many here have learned TTAT, leave the jw faith, but then subscribe to the 'true' gospel of Jesus.

  It seems rather contradictory. The jw faith teaches a very positive 'concept' of Christ and his teachings, how is this different from the way other religions teach it?

  It seems more logical to discard or ignore ANY claims of historic or authentic proof of Christ's existence. (his 'teachings' on the other hand, are pretty sound and depending on your personality worthy of aspiring to. these teachings, though, don't require that they originate from the mouth of Jesus aka they are universal).

  The internet is acting kind of crazy today. I can't log on to facebook and this site is showing post from 2 months ago. Maybe

  its my computer? People leave the JW's because there is too much baggage and unbiblical rules.

  Jesus says I am the truth and the truth will set you free.

  With Jesus you get all the good with out the bad of the JW's.

  i was inspired to write this after listening to a recent podcast of the thinking atheist by seth andrews.

  as many of you know, seth was a devout christian who not only loved contemporary christian music but was one of the hosts of a popular morning show on kxoj in tulsa, oklahoma in the 1990s.

  I remember several times throwing out my collection of Blue Oyster Cult records.

  The name and album covers seemed demonic. I would throw them away and then buy them back.

  I have them all now.

  Blue Oyster cult was the only group that scared me. Not Sabbath or Zepplin.

  They are my favorite living group today. I have seen them many times.

  In fact Buck Dharma lives down the road from me here in Florida.

  My best JW friend and former next door neighbor has a band and Buck comes and

  plays with them from time to time in the local bars. I have pictures of it

  Also I have every piece of music that I enjoyed digitalized except 1 song.

  It is a song that they play at the rowdies soccer games here in Florida.

  They play it today. But they also played it back in the 80's

  If I could find out the name of it. I could capture it.

  On 3 June 1967, Hellyer flew in by helicopter to officially inaugurate an unidentified flying object landing pad in St. Paul, Alberta. The town had built it as its Canadian Centennial celebration project, and as a symbol of keeping space free from human warfare. The sign beside the pad reads:

  The area under the World's First UFO Landing Pad was designated international by the Town of St. Paul as a symbol of our faith that mankind will maintain the outer universe free from national wars and strife. That future travel in space will be safe for all intergalactic beings, all visitors from earth or otherwise are welcome to this territory and to the Town of St. Paul.

  It doesn't appear at all he got interested from reading a book. But he got interested because he was the governtment offical aware of it.

  My claims I am just repeating from the 10 books of Zecariah Sitchin.

  His translations of the Sumerian text.

  Previously many of the wise ones here said Sitchin was wrong.

  Now with the government admiting aliens are here, it appears Sitchin was onto something.

  The aliens are the Gods of the bible and the Greeks and Persia, Hercules and Neptune.

  It will not profit them to reveal themselves to us beyond that.

  As many of you acknoledge they use the bible the koran, religions and myths to control

  us to get us to work for them they are not going to ruin their good thing.

  Jehovah was an alien who hated every one but the Jews and he made a very successful

  and prosperous franchise for himself alied with the Jesus chain.
